There is a lot of focus on preparing for birth but very little on preparing to breastfeed.
Breastfeeding doesn't have to be a difficult experience full of worries and pain.

As a doctor & Lactation Consultant I've seen my fair share of bad advice given to new parents. It's this bad advice that often has caused families to need to come to see me in the first place- to undo the damage it causes to breastmilk supply, feeding relationships and the stress levels of the whole family.

As a doctor and Lactation Consultant, a huge part of my job has always been helping families to undo the damage caused by bad advice they've been given or simply a lack of education & support. I watched the Milk. course with my partner. We found the course to be very informative and provide practical advice, the videos were clear and also included demonstration of practical skills like feeding positions. I feel more confident in my knowledge around breastfeeding but also feel that I know when and where to ask for extra help if I need.

I am so glad I completed the MORE THAN MILK courses in my last trimester of pregnancy, as it really helped me to prepare for what was. to come. As a first time mum, I didn't know what to expect when it came to breastfeeding.
